My New Goddaughter is Bundled in Prayer

My first goddaughter was born in December 2000.  I wanted to make a very special gift for her and this was in the time frame before it was a given for me to start crocheting when anyone close to me said the word “baby”!  But that is exactly what I did!

For her 17th birthday last month, Jocelyn “needed” a special kind of a gift!  So, a Bundled in Prayer afghan seemed to be the perfect gift.  So with a little intel from her mom and sister we picked just the right colors.

My Own Children Finally Get BIP Afghans!

  Kaitlyn’s Flower Garden:  She and Hannah share a room with a white picket fence and flowers painted on the walls.  Kaitlyn has an aqua colored comforter on her bed!

   Hannah’s Patchwork:  Hannah has a hot pink comforter and light pink and purple sheets and pillow case on her bed.  This matches nicely!
