How Bundled in Prayer Began!
When I was about 11 or 12 years old my grandmother taught me a few simple stitches right before we left from a visit to her house. She lived in New York and at the time we lived in Michigan and all the way back home on that long, long summer drive I crocheted and crocheted and crocheted! That first afghan was a variegated purple and white that still “graces” my daughters’ room. It is lop-sided and awkwardly shaped, but I was so excited to know my two or three little stiches!
I made an afghan for my sister when she graduated from high school years later, but really didn’t start crocheting in full force until my friend, Cherie, made the sweetest afghan for my middle son when he was born! After that I started making occasional afghans for friends’ babies!
My husband kept encouraging me to try the super fluffy and soft yarns and I was sure that it would be snaggy and difficult to work with… and I was RIGHT. However, the finished product was just dreamy so I persevered and now it is a piece of cake! Or should I say a piece of heaven? These afghans are like a cloud!
About two years ago I first started offering my afghans for sale. The money I make provides me a way to purchase more yarn! It also gives me a way to donate money to two other ministries that are very near and dear to my heart: Blessed Arrows and Gleaning the Harvest.

These three afghans were gifts for three special siblings! Some friends of ours adopted an adorable, little girl from China and shortly thereafter were blessed with biological twins! These are their afghans!
